A joyful pastel scheme runs through this London home, flowing across the hallway, bathroom, and kitchen, and bursting through to the exterior of a fresh extension designed by Office S&M.

Inspired by train stations and swimming pools, three dimensional baby pink tiles decorate the facade, creating a bubbly contrast against the pale bricks and minty green window and door frames.

The tiles were made by Materials Assemble and Teamwork Italy out of extruded clay with the playful colour choice serving as warm nostalgia. The pink glaze is the same one used on the tiles on the Hammersmith and City Line, a place that reminds the owners of home, and serves the design theme through its nod to municipal architecture.

Soft yellow and light pink tiles continue the aesthetic in the bathroom whilst the powder blue kitchen is offered contrast with a warm yellow grout.
