2019 was a big year for tropical tiles with numerous companies offering jungle-themed scenes and colourful plants and fauna. Although the trend is no longer at its peak, there is still something completely captivating about tropical imagery. Thanks to over a year spent looking at the same four walls with no hope for adventure or excitement, the desire for nature-inspired interiors remains strong. With that continues the trend for the tropical.

One company offering a minimalist take on tropical looks is Decortiles and their Patch Floripa. In dramatic black and white and calming white and blue, Patch Floripa offers various close-up crops of tropical flora sketched with simplistic lines.

The 290 by 290mm tiles are designed as a jungle-themes patchwork, with the stylised drawings offering a cohesive look desipte the randomised layout. The satin finish tiles are created for use on walls in both residential and commercial spaces.
