Standing out from the crowd in their Colour of the Year 2022 choice are trend forcasting specialists WGSN. Bold, vibrant, and intoxicating, their selected shade is Orchid Flower.
The company forecast the increasing popularity of this joyful pinky magenta in 2020 and are predicting its continued success in this year. And they’re not the only ones! We’ve already seen a few predictions including this colour – in Sherwin-Williams‘ Dreamland palette and in the NYFW Spring/Summer colours. Undeniably optimistic, Orchid Flower inspires positivity, offering hope for an unrestricted future or, failing that, a little escapism.
Though an unsual shade for the tile world, an increased love of pink and magenta has increased the options a little in recent years.
