It’s our last article before DTA’s long Christmas break so to celebrate the end of yet another tiletastic year, here are our top ten tile finds of 2024.
1) Petra Palumbo’s Tartan Tiles

3) Cowboy boot tiles from Clay Imports x Rock Paper Build
In a collaboration with Davey McEathron and Rebecca Holliday of Rock Paper Build, this unique collection from Clay Imports brings cowboy boot style and a Mexican vibe to these perfectly patterned tiles. Read more about the collection here.



4) Bussoga
With designs full of wit and whimsy, Bussoga brings out the best in tile. Offering patterns as playful as butts and bananas, as spooky as eyes and ghosts, and as unusual as a person being shot from a canon, this company is one to remember. Read all about them here.



5) Lux Pottery
New to the scene and adding a range of wonderful features, Trix Newham of Lux Pottery is filling a void. Creating tiles that double as candle holders, plant pots, soap dishes, and more, these gorgeously colourful tiles do much more than just look lovely. Read more about them here.



6) Myrsini Alexandridi
Another awesome artist we covered this year, Myrsini Alexandridi makes tile art informed by her architectural practice, Greek tradition, and topographical forms. Delicately dotted designs that are lively with colour, these artworks sit solidly amongst our 2024 favourites. Read more about them here.



7) Kiasmo
Homeware brand Kiasmo‘s collection of unusual black and white art tiles take you on a trip. Half face half fruit, lonely swimmers, and dangling nudists feature amongst many other artistic interpretations and fascinating forms. Read more about them here.



8) Crumbles from Terraformæ
Blending two timeless favourites – terracotta and terrazzo – Terraformæ‘s Crumbles offers earthy charm, rustic texture, and playful specks of unexpected colour. Utilising production scraps, Crumbles showcases sustainable style with old school aesthetics. Read more about it here.



9) Osso & Bottone from Ronan Bouroullec for Mutina
Adding to our list of tile collections with playful grout lines, Osso & Bottone incorporate recessed cutouts on the edges of these thing, elegant tiles creating pockets of space for colourful grout to shine. Read more about the collection here.



10) Aimée Wilder
Finding colourful collections full of bold pigments and unexpected contrasts is always exciting. And stumbling across the designs of Aimée Wilder when looking for tile matches for an interior inspo post was like discovering a gold mine.
