Five Funky Flower Tiles

Following on from the fun and funky 70s style findings we’ve been collecting over the past few months, I decided to dedicate a little space to retro florals, choosing a few groovy designs with a 70s soul.

1) Homey Flower

Amongst Ceramiche Piemme‘s calming Homey collection of earth-toned and chilled organic-vibe tiles sit two decors that fit our funky bill. Homey Flower Cotto and Homey Flower Chalk sit at opposite ends of the hot and cold spectrum, each taking a side and decorating it in a duo of curvy stylised blossoms.

2) Daisy

One of our favourite tile world collabs brought a whole host of original designs to the table. But two creations in particular birthed from the Haustile x DazeyLA romance are the perfect blend of modern joy and retro funk. Daisy Chevron and Daisy Check go big on colour and whimsical in design.

3) Nuria

In patterns 1 to 6, David & Goliath‘s Nuria tiles offer up a whole host of funky florals for a feature you can mix and match. Decorated in pigmented earth tones, this infinite design creates a pared back colour story that’ll sit easily amongst a vintage space.

4) Tataoui

Three funky colourways – Noir, Caramel, and Bleu – make up the Tataoui trio from Petit Pan. A pattern of simplistic shapes creates a semi-floral vibe with added playfulness from the dots and stars.

5) Flower

Amongst the many marvellous motifs masterminded in the Mattonelle Margherita collection by Nathalie Du Pasquier for Mutina sit two delightful flowers in Green and Black. Enjoy the retro vibe all throughout the stripes, squares, dots, and designs, and include a little Flower Power too.
