Cyberspace Curiosities XIV

We filled up on Curiosities at Cersaie but there’s always room for more so welcome patchwork, origami, texture, and terrazzo for our last collection of Curiosities before 2024!

1) Sei

Intriguing forms like folded paper, Mavi‘s Sei collection is something truly unique. In four unusual shades (blue, lime green, teal, and lilac), inverse versions of each design create potential for countless layouts and patterns, composing delightful variations for personalised spaces.

2) Terra Crea

Imitating the timeless charm of hand formed terracotta tiles, Domus‘ Terra Crea collection presents five earthy colours that range from limey white to burnt orange complete with surface irregularities and broken edges.

3) Patch Lupine

Stitched squares in fabric-effects create a patchwork in beige for Haustile‘s Patch Lupine tiles. Funky swirls that interrupt the straight lines add character and whimsy for a surface finish full of joy.

4) Terrazzo Design Project

Sitting perfectly within our beloved Toon Town Terrazzo trend, Valmori Ceramica‘s Terrazzo Design Project collection features a range of six playfully colourful terrazzo styles. The six colours (White, Grey, Black, Warm, Turquoise, and Green) are each paired with complementary shades of coral, purple, red, and orange whilst three concentrations of multicoloured ‘chips’ (Soft, Medium, and Heavy) offer various levels of drama.

5) Marbles

Designed by 2LG Studio for Maitland & Potate, Marbles mixes the irregularly beauty of poured cement with the ordered decor of dots. In three charming shades (Camel, Green, and Blue) this combination is represented in both a central coloured spot and an inverse design.
