A selection of swimmer tiles

Tiles are hitting the water today with this delightful collection of swim-themed decors.

1) Swimmers

Along with the London street scapes, market stalls, and allotment scenes of Helen Beard‘s artwork sit a stylish selection of swimmers. Peering poolside, diving, splashing, and stepping into the blue, Beard’s swimmers are comforting and familiar.

2) Piruet

Capped and cozzied, the delightful divers of Bussoga‘s Piruet designed by Sergi Frutos peer over the board and swiftly spin, decorating the tile corners with their angled cartoon bodies.

3) Aquabelle & Baie

Synchronised swimmers in contrasting swimming costumes form unusual geometric patterns with leaps, splits, and starfish across Alexandra Browne‘s Aquabelle tiles. Rippling rows of water separate the strokes of swimmers (and the occasional shark) for Browne’s Baie mural tiles.

4) Swimmer Tiles

In a collection by Margate-based Jayne Wright, swim-ready bodies await the water. Every piece is handmade with a twice-fired technique with intriguing colours and shapes creating a distinct character for each tile.
